The financial police of Frattamaggiore has in a shipping center in Casoria a package Poland intercepted in which 21 Polish license plates14 vehicle registration documents and 6 sales contracts, which was addressed to a person in Naples, owner of a motor vehicle service agency.
The investigation revealed that the agency ordered foreign license plates for certain vehicles with the help of a Polish company that was dissolved in 2020. These vehicles were first deleted from the Italian public vehicle register – “Pra” – and then, although they had never left Italian territory, they were apparently re-registered in Poland.

The operation was a Trickone to avoid vehicle taxes and to illegally save on the mandatory insurance premium, which in Naples is the highest in Italy, as well as to avoid possible fines for traffic violations committed by the driver. At the end of the operation, the material and documentation were confiscated and the person responsible was reported to the public prosecutor’s office of the Naples North Court for fraud and receiving stolen property.
