Police stop Bibi Breijman in The Perfect Picture

It is up to the celebrities during the first shoot to take a photo that will make everyone lick their fingers. The theme is desserts, something Janny van der Heijden knows all about of course. Expectations are high, especially since Janny scored a nine last week during the infamous nude shoot. She herself does not know whether she can deliver. “I know what should be tasty, what it should look like and how to make it. But how to photograph it is something else”, she says somewhat nervously in front of the camera.

The aim is for the stars to create an ‘Insta-killer’ that immediately catches the eye while scrolling endlessly on Instagram. But just shooting an Insta-worthy photo is not enough, there must also be action in the shot. Art Rooijakkers is not immediately impressed with his camera. He has been instructed to bring a cake to life, but finds it quite depressing. “It does remind you of a cremation or funeral,” he explains. To make his photo spectacular, he really pulls out all the stops. Even presenter Tijl Beckand has to believe it and that ends less well for him. Art has the genius idea that Tijl should ‘blow away’ cocoa. That goes wrong in 3… 2… 1…

All in all, the celebrities are struggling a lot, but there is one who does have a taste for it: Bert van Leeuwen. While he is still embarrassed about the previous shoot, he knows how to impress the jury this week and he gets a good eight for his Pavlova.

The second assignment also demands everything from the candidates. This time they have to record the architecture in Rotterdam and subtly incorporate a sport into it. Bibi is allowed on the road with a 2.13 meter basketball player, who is her inspiration for the shoot. The height of the athlete makes the influencer quite dizzy and when she goes in search of suitable buildings in the car, she forgets everything around her. Even traffic lights. And that costs her 250 euros. “An expensive photo”, says Bibi.

But it’s all worth it, because after a lesser score during the first assignment, Bibi now makes the top three. Art is less fortunate and has to pack his camera for good. Although he still called to win during the shoot, his photo turns out to be completely out of focus.

The Perfect Picture can be seen every Tuesday evening at 8.30 pm on RTL 4 and can be seen again on Videoland.
