Large police show in Bad Soden-Salmünster
(kk) The police headquarters of Southeast Hesse and the city of Bad Soden-Salmünster invite you to the big police show on September 16, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the local spa park. Admission is free.
The informative and spectacular police show is an event for the whole family.
Horses, dogs, motorcycles, helicopters, SEK and more
Demonstrations of the police cavalry squadron, the police dog and rescue dog squadron as well as the planned landing of a police helicopter and the use of the special task force are just as much a highlight as the impressive demonstration of the motorcycle squadron of the police headquarters in Southeast Hesse. A water cannon from the riot police will also be in action, as will police divers showing their skills in the outdoor pool of the Spessart Therme.
Young talent wanted – applications will be accepted on site
Anyone who now says “cool job” and meets the requirements for the police profession can find out more about the dual study program at the Hesse police department at the recruitment advice stand. Visitors who submit their complete application documents will receive a surprise. Information on the application in advance at karriere.polizei.hessen.de.
Bike course for the little ones, music, vehicles and more
At the youth traffic school, children and young people can show their skills at the bicycle skill tournament. Great prizes await. The State Police Orchestra provides entertainment in the music pavilion in the Kurpark. The official health management, the police pastoral care and local associations also provide an insight into their activities. In addition to an extensive vehicle exhibition from the fire brigade, THW, DRK, Johanniter, DLRG, the police will give tips on protection against cybercrime, burglars, thieves and more, and the traffic inspection specialists will present different speed measuring systems.
Tension at the detective
Various methods of searching for clues will inspire visitors to the detective service of the police. Try on a protective vest and get an insight into operational training? Everything is possible with the operational trainers at the police headquarters. A variety of food and drink stands provide for the physical well-being. Police President Daniel Muth and Mayor Dominik Brasch, together with everyone involved, are looking forward to many visitors.
Parking and shuttle service
The Thermalbadstraße will remain closed to through traffic for the event. A diversion is signposted. Parking is available at the Woco car park on Sprudelallee, at the fairground and on the specially designated Am Hain meadow area. A shuttle bus takes visitors from Bad Soden-Salmünster train station to the “Festplatz” car park. Bicycles can be parked in the Volksbank area on Thermalbadstraße.
On the day of the police inspection, the social media team at the police headquarters in Southeast Hesse will also report on the event via Instagram (polizei_soh).
