The police shot a man on Tuesday evening after a short chase in the schoolyard of the Comenius College in East Rotterdam. Officers initially came to a report of a robbery on De Klerkstraat. It is possible that a weapon was seen. Eyewitnesses saw one or more suspects drive away in a car, after which an investigation was launched in the area.
