A police officer shot and killed a 46-year-old father of two daughters at his home in Stal-Koersel on Friday. The officer, along with a colleague, had been sent to the scene after a call about a ‘disturbing situation’. The situation would have gotten out of hand when Joeri W. rushed at them with a knife.
