“Police Shoot Armed Man in Wijk bij Duurstede”

In a house in Wijk bij Duurstede, the police shot a man last evening, who had previously fired at officers. He was arrested and taken to hospital.

Around 9 p.m., the police were informed about an argument in the house on Badorfstraat. According to police, the man exhibited confused behavior. He threatened the officers and shot at them, whereupon the man was shot. It is unknown how he is doing.
