On Monday evening, the police received a tip about reckless driving in the area by the old dairy in Namsos.
– There was someone who had grown tired of driving tolls with an ATV. Among other things, it must have been driven on the rear wheels, says police operations manager Trond Hangaas to Trønder-Avisa on Tuesday morning.
A patrol was able to check the vehicle, and quickly saw that the ATV had worn tires and an illegally installed power system.
The quad bike was therefore separated, while the teenage driver was driven home to his mother.
There is no suspicion of drunk driving, Hangaas points out.
