The police are looking for witnesses to a sex offense that was committed on Friday morning, on Driebondsweg just outside the city of Groningen. There, around 5 a.m., a young woman cycled from Groningen towards Meerstad. After the sexual offense, the suspect took off in a dark-colored car.
The police have launched a neighborhood and trace investigation. The police are also looking for CCTV footage that may show something. “The detective asks local residents or business owners with camera images from the area where the incident happened to contact us as soon as possible so that you can share images with us,” said the police.
People who may have seen something, or who drove near Driebondsweg around 5 a.m., are also requested to report.
