Police secure objects in search for Sumanta | Inland

Since last Wednesday, there has been an ongoing search for Sumanta’s body and objects that can be linked to the crime and murder suspect Manodj B., of whom Sumanta was pregnant. “We did put stuff in bags to keep. That can be anything from a beer can to a wad, so to speak. We will not disclose what has been found, but these are not matters that we are currently linking directly to the file.”

The new search began on Wednesday and is carried out by a permanent specialized team of police officers and detectives. The area being searched, a kind of peninsula in De Hulk, is over 6,000 m2 in size. To make the search easier, many bushes and shrubs have been removed and have since been removed. The water around the area is also searched with metal detectors.

In this case Manodj B. (41) from Hoorn is still being held. According to justice, he killed her because she refused to comply with his wish to terminate the pregnancy.
