Jakarta – One man got the police at the South Jakarta Police Headquarters this morning. The man was secured for carrying a knife.
South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Azis Andriansyah confirmed the incident. The incident occurred around 09.30 WIB earlier.
“(The incident) this morning, we are handling it to be taken to the hospital,” said Kombes Azis Andiansyah in a statement to reporters on Saturday (19/3/2021).
In a video circulating on social media, it appears that a topless man is being secured by police at the entrance South Jakarta Metro Police. A number of police personnel seemed to be holding the man.
The man rebelled, overwhelming the police. Even so, the police swiftly secured the man to his back on the asphalt.
The other police then secured it a knife which the man brought. Currently the police are still handling the incident.
