Gunman on the Loose After Shooting Leaves Three Dead, Including 12-Year-Old Child

Philadelphia, PA – In a tragic incident that unfolded on Thursday afternoon, a gunman opened fire on the 700 block of E. Locust Avenue in Philadelphia’s Germantown section, leaving three people dead, including a 12-year-old child. The Philadelphia police are currently on the hunt for the shooter.

The shooting occurred shortly after 2 p.m., and when officers arrived at the scene, they discovered two men, one in his 40s and the other in his 30s, suffering from gunshot wounds. A short distance away, a 12-year-old child was also found shot. All three victims were rushed to a nearby hospital, but unfortunately, they succumbed to their injuries.

According to police reports, at least 12 shots were fired at the scene. Deputy Commissioner of Investigations Frank Vanore stated, “We know that the two adult males were hit right at the top of the block, right by Crowson Street, where they were found by police. It appears the juvenile was able to run towards his residence and was found a short distance away from the adults.”

Authorities are currently investigating reports that a vehicle may have been involved in the incident. As of now, at least one gunman is still at large.

This tragic incident marks the second deadly triple shooting under investigation by the Philadelphia police on Thursday.
