“Yes, we are still investigating, we don’t know for sure who. Yes, we are still investigating,” said Head of the Criminal Investigation Department AKBP Dwi Prasetya when contacted, Sunday (27/6/2021).
Until now, Dwi stated that he had not received any progress on the case. Police have not yet identified the perpetrators of the assault.
“He doesn’t know (his identity), he’ll let you know later,” said Dwi.
“It’s still being investigated, I can’t comment (because) it’s still being investigated. I repeat, I don’t want our presumptions to be still being investigated,” he continued.
As previously reported, a video circulated showing the acts of persecution and destruction carried out Pajero driver against the driver of a viral container truck on social media. The incident is said to have occurred in Sunter, North Jakarta.
In the video circulating, a well-built man gets into an argument with a container truck driver. It is not clear what the man said.
Later, he was seen swinging the stick he was carrying repeatedly at the truck driver. The truck driver didn’t seem to resist and tried to fend off the man’s blows.
“Belagu really, sorry for the container driver, belagu really considering Pajero,” said the video recorder.
Not long after, a man was seen breaking up the dispute. After being calmed down, the well-built man got into the Pajero’s car and pulled over.
Traffic around the site looks congested. Several vehicles honk their horns.
Not long after, the well-built man got out of the car and ran towards the container truck. He swung his wand and shattered the front glass of the container.
This video has also gone viral on social media. It is narrated that this incident occurred on Jalan Yos Sudarso, Sunter, North Jakarta, on Saturday (26/6).
