Police officers from the Economic Crime Investigation Service in Olt, under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Olt Tribunal, are conducting 13 house searches on Tuesday, in the counties of Maramureş, Braşov, Ilfov, Buzău and Olt, for persons suspected of tax evasion.
The research showed that, between January 1, 2012 – December 21, 2017, the representatives of a company from Olt County were registered in the company’s accounting records, the operations carried out with other companies, refusing to present legal documents to the tax authorities, being caused a damage to the state budget of 769,577 lei, informs News.ro.
Five people are due to be questioned.
