Two people were injured after a “shootout” at the Mall of America in Minnesota on Friday night, police said.
According to the Bloomington Police Department, there was a “shooting incident” at the Mall of America, where two people sustained non-life threatening injuries.
After a brief closure, the mall has resumed normal operations and the scene is secure, the police department said on Twitter.

Police are not looking for the suspect, the statement said.
A Fox 9 Minneapolis reporter tweeted that the mall’s announcement system indicated the situation was resolved.
After the incident, the reporter tweeted that the entire north side of the third floor of the Mall of America was stuck with duct tape.

According to Fox 9, people took refuge in the Nickelodeon store in the Mall of America during the incident.
