Chennai: Leading serial actress Chitra Kamaraj (VJ Chithra) has been found hanging in a hotel in Nazareth, Chennai. An investigation is underway into whether it was a suicide or a homicide.
Police hope to find out the exact cause of death after receiving the report after the postmortem at Kilpauk Medical College.
Chitra was engaged to businessman Hemraj two months ago. The wedding is in January. He booked a room in a hotel around 1pm on Tuesday night after the serial shooting. He was found dead around 5 p.m.
