Cannabis plants seized

On Tuesday evening, police seized several cannabis plants and dried cannabis flowers in an apartment on Pfeifferhannsstrasse.

Following a witness tip-off, officers searched the apartment of a 30-year-old. He resisted opening the apartment and threatened the officers. He was eventually overpowered and taken to hospital. The police found 31 cannabis plants and over 130 grams of dried cannabis flowers in the apartment. The 30-year-old German is now being investigated for violating the Cannabis Consumption Act and resisting law enforcement officers. (lr)

The officers prohibited the 29-year-old Pole from continuing his journey and are now investigating for violating the compulsory insurance law. (lr)

Police investigate suspicious approach to a child

According to current information, an unknown man approached a nine-year-old girl from a gray car on the school street. He also offered the child sweets and wanted to drive her to school. Shortly afterwards, the man got out and grabbed the girl by the arm. When the nine-year-old called out loudly for help, the unknown man let go. The child ran away.

The unknown man was about 55 to 60 years old, about 1.75 meters tall and of a strong build. He had a black beard, spoke broken German and was described as being from the South.

In addition to the investigation, the police will increase their patrol activities in the Glashütte area and contact the school of the affected child.

Four injured in rear-end collision
