Police Save Woman Who Fell on Subway Rails – NBC Los Angeles

A woman is miraculously alive thanks to police officers who helped her after she fell onto the subway tracks at a Brooklyn station minutes before the train was due to arrive.

The woman suffered a medical episode that made her fall on the train tracks, but the uniformed men acted quickly.

The body camera of one of the officers shows the heroic action that occurred at the 95th Street station in the Bay Bridge sector.

In the video shared by the New York City Police Department on Wednesday the woman is seen walking on the platform and falling from one moment to another on the train tracks.

At that moment, the uniformed men run to help her, one of them jumps onto the rails, while the woman seems confused. The other policeman takes her from her arms and helps her up to the platform minutes before a train arrives at the station.

Both officers were conducting their daily inspection of the subway at the time of the incident.

No details were released about what type of medical episode the woman suffered and her condition at the time. The exact date of the incident was also not disclosed.
