* The prompt response of law enforcement personnel allowed the elderly person to be placed under protection
This Saturday afternoon, the police of the Municipal Secretariat of Public Security of Querétaro (SSPMQ) who were carrying out dissuasive visits in the Menchaca neighborhood, were alerted to a risk situation in the area, since an elderly person with reduced mobility was inside of a burning house, so they immediately moved to the indicated address.
Arrived on site to provide assistance, one of the elements entered the building and managed to protect the elderly man.
In addition, emergency services were sent to the scene of the accident to put out the fire and evaluate the elderly man and the municipal police officer, both with first-degree burns.
Meanwhile, two other residents of the house were evaluated for nervous breakdowns, an elderly man and a pregnant woman, who did not require a hospital transfer.
