Suspect police murder against fried chicken entrepreneurs in Bekasi Regency kidnapping the victim’s child because he kept crying and was afraid of being suspected by local residents.
“Because the victim’s child continued to cry, the suspect HK and MA’s child decided to take the victim’s child I so that they would not be suspected and lure local residents,” said the Director of General Criminal Investigation of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Hengki Haryadi to reporters, Saturday (18/2).
When he was about to escape from the murder scene, the perpetrator was locked in the shop because he forgot to put the key.
“Then the HK suspect used a knife and scissors to open the padlock that locked the Rolling Door because the suspect forgot the position of the padlock,” said Hengki.
The two suspected perpetrators then took the victim’s child with the initial A to Yogyakarta. The plan is for the toddler to be entrusted to the relative of one of the suspects.
However, on the way the suspects ran out of fare. Then they stopped in the Subang area, West Java and the victim’s child was placed in an empty patrol post.
“When he was placed (at the patrol post) because he didn’t go to Jogja, the baby was placed with the victim’s KTP, with the hope that this baby could return to his family,” said Hengki.
Hengki said the police were still carrying out intensive investigations of the two suspects to explore the motives of the case.
To investigators, the two perpetrators admitted that they were desperate to kill because they felt hurt by the treatment and salary given to the victim.
“Once again we will involve forensic psychology to find out the true motives of these perpetrators,” he explained.
The suspect is subject to Article 338 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 365 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 76F in conjunction with Article 83 of Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection with the threat of 15 imprisonment.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court will be processed with Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Juvenile Criminal Justice System. Because MA is a minor.
