Police reveal the atrocious way in which the subject killed a woman in Rivas

The last moments of the life of the pig merchant María Isabel Hernández Vivas, 66, were of pain and martyrdom, according to the police investigation, since she was murdered with a barrel shot and finished off with stones by the subject Jairo Guzmán, in the department of Rivas.

Doña Isabel was originally from the La Flor neighborhood, in the municipality of Cárdenas, and on April 27 she came out willing to collect the 10,000 córdobas for the sale of two pigs that the person who would end up murdering her owed her.

Guzmán confessed to the authorities that after having a heated discussion with his victim, he decided to end the conflict in the most atrocious way: by taking his life.

After committing the crime, he picked up the woman’s body and buried it in the patio of his house in the Tomás Borge neighborhood, then planned to flee the country through a blind spot towards Costa Rica, but was captured by police officers who were carrying out an operation to being alerted about the disappearance of the lady and learning that Guzmán had been the last to see her alive.

The murderer, after killing the lady, stole her mobile phone, which was found when he was searched at the time of his arrest.

According to the forensic examination carried out on the victim, she died from a head injury due to blunt polytraumatism, having as death time of 5 to 6 days, approximately.

When reviewing Guzmán’s police record, it turns out that he has a series of crimes that range from rustling, assault, death threats and injuries.

For their part, Doña Isabel’s relatives and neighbors in her area demand that the authorities apply the full weight of the law to the murderer.
