Depok Metro Police Chief Kombes Imran Edwin Siregar said suspect I stabbed TNI soldiers, Sertu Yorhan Lopo on the pretext of solidarity. The victim Sergeant Yorhan died after being stabbed in the left chest while trying to break up a fight in Cimanggis, Depok. on Wednesday (22/9) night.
“The perpetrator was not drunk just because of the solidarity of his friends,” said Imran at the Depok Metro Police Headquarters, West Java, Friday (24/9).
Imran said that the stabbing action carried out by suspect I was carried out spontaneously.
At the time of the incident, said Imran, the victim Yorhan suddenly came to the location to break up the commotion that was going on there.
“Spontaneously the suspect stabbed a knife right in the victim’s left chest so that the victim died,” said Imran.
From the results of the investigation, suspect I stabbed the victim using a pocket knife. The device was deliberately brought by the suspect after being contacted by M who was involved in a conflict with A.
“He brought it because there was a conflict, he prepared it from home,” said Imran.
Sertu Yorhan Lopo died on Wednesday (22/9), while breaking up a fight. Initially, a person with the initials M and A was involved in a conflict. The conflict continued and M summoned his colleagues from South Jakarta.
Then, Yorhan’s victim, who is a TNI soldier, came and tried to intervene. However, he was stabbed by suspect I.
The victim tried to save himself, but died 50 meters from the scene.
In this case, suspect I was charged with Article 338 of the Criminal Code and Article 351 of the Criminal Code with a penalty of 15 years in prison.
