Police Reports from Northern Norway Nightclubs: Disturbances, Party Shutdowns, and Alcohol Checks

Around 01:03 on the night of Sunday, the police were present at a nightclub after a guest had caused a disturbance in Sandnessjøen.

– The guest chose to go home. No further follow-up from the police, reports the police in Nordland on X.

Half an hour later, a patrol further north, at Leknes in Lofoten, had to end a party with young people at a private address that was disturbing neighbours. The party people were already talking when the police arrived.

In Narvik, a police patrol and the emergency police had chosen to carry out blood alcohol checks at night. There were 30 checked and all were OK, the police report on X.

In the center of Narvik, on the other hand, a patrol had to control a person who was behaving aggressively in a night club. The person was ordered to leave the city center and had to comply.

The next incident last night, which the police have logged on X just after three o’clock, took place in Brønnøy. There, a police patrol had to end a large party/event at an assembly hall.

– Many young people and minors, as well as a lot of alcohol on site, reports the police at X. The party ended without problems.

Back in the north, in Svolvær, a person was expelled from the center after threatening guards at a night club, the reason being that he had been refused a meal. The person concerned is reported by the victim in the case.

The last incident logged by the police in Nordland on X is a fight in the center of Bodø, around three o’clock on Sunday night.

– The patrol intervened in a minor fight/argument between three people. The situation calmed down, and the parties left the scene, the police report.
