Police remove Extinction Rebellion demonstrators from blockade in Amsterdam | Inland

The climate activists blocked the road around 7:30 am at De Boelelaan near the Zuidas. They wear masks and carry banners and flags. A number of them have chained themselves and glued to the road. The atmosphere is calm and activists can often be taken away without any problems.

The activists take buses from the transport company GVB to a location elsewhere in the city, where they are released.

On Friday, climate activists also blocked an intersection on the Zuidas in Amsterdam to draw attention to climate change. The police then put an end to the blockade after a few hours, because it was forbidden by the municipality.
