Police release body camera footage of the shooting

Authorities are releasing videos from the body cameras of the police officers involved in last Sunday’s shooting at a Brooklyn subway station. We warn you that the images may be disturbing.

Police say 9 shots were fired.

The shooting happened when the agents were trying to intervene on the subject, who they say entered the station without paying.

The incident occurred at the Sutter Avenue “L” train stop

Police say the officers opened fire after the suspect threatened them with a knife and after Tasers failed to subdue him.

At the same time, this Friday, the lawyers and family of Gregory Delpeche, the man who was shot in the head during the incident, held a press conference. They said Delpeche continues to fight for his life because of a shooting that should never have happened. And they accuse Mayor Adams and police leaders of not taking responsibility for this fact.
