SURHUISTERVEEN – The police stopped a pursuit in Surhuisterveen at the beginning of the afternoon on Wednesday due to dangerous driving behavior. Around 12:00, officers on the A7 stopped a motorist for dangerous driving, but he ignored it and quickly drove away.
Several police vehicles joined the chase, which led via Frieschepalen over the Scheiding. Ultimately, the officers in Surhuisterveen decided to no longer pursue the motorist. Instead, they investigated the neighborhood and found the car without a driver on the Buizerd in Surhuisterveen.
