The party of two right-wing German rappers on the grounds of the former Hamburg Hospital in Bad Bevensen ended differently than planned on Sunday night – the police arrived and pulled the plug. The musicians “Proto” and “Kavalier”, who perform as “deportation masters”, had previously advertised the concert on the Internet. They wanted to climb onto the stage of a trailer in the Salzwedel area or neighboring Lower Saxony.
Police spokesman Kai Richter: “As registrations and corresponding permits for the music event were not available, the police with more than 30 officers broke up the event in the late evening hours of August 24th and took the personal details of all 29 people present. At the same time, other facts were documented that confirmed that the event was commercially oriented. Further investigations into the recorded music and merchandising items (recordings, stickers and shirts) that were found are ongoing.”
Around 30 “fans” arrived by car, mainly from the Salzwedel area, the police reported. According to initial findings, no known right-wing extremists from the region were present.
In the WAZ and on Zeit online you can read that Proto’s real name is Kai Alexander Naggert. He is active in the Identitarian Movement. The IB belongs to the extreme New Right, which wants to distance itself from neo-Nazism and uses pop culture and social media strategically. Proto and Chris Ares (actually Christoph Zloch) founded the music label Neuer Deutscher Standard (NDS) in 2019. “Kavalier” is called Dominik Raupbach, and he is also a member of the NDS.
