Due to a ‘report at a shop’, the police in Amsterdam are massively present on Leidseplein. It could be an armed robbery at the Apple Store.
The police reported this via Twitter. It is not yet clear what exactly is going on.

Images circulating on social media show a man being held at gunpoint in the Apple Store. Amsterdam channel AT5 reports that there may be a hostage situation.

Meanwhile, the area around the Apple Store is being cleared. By order of the police, everyone has to leave Leidseplein.
