Two rioting men led to police operations in Euskirchen and Mechernich. A 54-year-old man rioted in the Euskirchen hospital on Wednesday evening. According to the police, he had 3.3 per thousand alcohol in his blood. The officers took him to the station to sober up him.
In Mechernich, a 23-year-old man attacked police officers. She had asked him for the key to an apartment on Turmhofstrasse. Because he is said to have committed a bodily harm there, the man was initially no longer allowed to enter the apartment. The police managed to repel the man’s attack and took him to the station as well.
