Several cigarette vending machines were blown up in Dresden and Leipzig. This caused considerable damage. Police reported three cases in Dresden and one in Leipzig on Sunday. The unknown perpetrators each used pyrotechnics.

When a car was blown up in Dresden-Löbtau, not only was the device destroyed, but also the facade of a house was damaged. Here alone the police estimated the damage at a total of 15,000 euros. The other exploded machines were located in the Great Garden and in Dresden-Striesen, as well as in Leipzig in the Dölitz-Dösen district.
