Police Open Hotline for Trading Robot Cases and Binary Options, Victims Can Report to WhatsApp 081213227296

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Directorate of Special Crimes (Tipidexus) Bareskrim Police open a case complaint hotline robot trading and binary option for victims who feel harmed.

Victims can make complaints via WhatsApp with the number 0812-1322-7296.

Victims can also submit complaints through the Instagram social media platform with the account @posko_robottrad_binary_option_dittipideksus.

“Access to this hotline is opened for victims of cases of trading robots and binary options. Victims who live anywhere, both in Jakarta and in the regions can report it starting today,” said the Director of Tipideksus Police Criminal Investigation Unit Brigadier General Whisnu Hermawan told reporters, Thursday (17/3/2022) night.

Brigadier General Whisnu revealed that his party is currently handling a number of fraud cases under the guise of trading robots and binary options.

Some of these cases Binomial, FBS, Viral Blast GlobalMark AI, Evotrade, FahrenheitFIN888 and DNA Pro.

“We hope that this complaint hotline can help victims of fraudulent crimes with the investment mode of trading robots and binary options that are currently developing in Indonesia,” said Whisnu.

One of the cases of fraud through binary options trading handled by the Dittipideksus Bareskrim Polri is the case of the Binomo application with the suspect Indra Kesuma alias Indra Kenz.

The case began with the reports of 8 victims on February 3, 2022. The victims reported Indra Kenz as one of Binomo’s partners. The victim also reported the owner of the Binomo application.

Indra Kenz was later named a suspect in the alleged crime of online gambling and/or spreading false news through electronic media and/or fraud, fraudulent acts and/or money laundering (TPPU) related to the Binomo application on February 24, 2022.

Indra Kenz is subject to multiple articles and faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison. Investigators are also continuing to develop the case and are still investigating the owners and other partners regarding the Binomo application.
