KOMPAS.com – The North Sumatra Police detained eight suspects in the human cage case at the house of the inactive regent of Langkat Terbit Terbit Warin-Angin Plan.
One of the suspects and officially detained is the son of the Langkat Regent, Dewa Warin-Angin.

Meanwhile, Dewa and seven other people were presented at a press conference held at the North Sumatra Police Headquarters, Friday (8/7/2022).
“As of last night, eight suspects who have been determined, both their roles as people who participated in the occurrence of criminal acts that resulted in the death of people and the crime of trafficking in persons. That has been since last night after the case was held to carry out detention,” said North Sumatra Police Chief Inspector General Pol RZ Panca Putra Simanjuntak, Friday (8/7/2022), followed from the Medan Tribune.
The North Sumatra Police have 20 days to resolve this case.
If within that time the investigation is complete, the case will be transferred to the prosecutor’s office.
“Detention at the North Sumatra Police Detention Center for the next 20 days. This means that time has started to run because we have to finish the meter on time, although there may still be other things that we haven’t found yet,” he said.
