The Security Forces Internal Affairs Service proceeded to arrest of a police officerwho is accused of fraud committed and attempted, consecutively, as well as violation of the legislation on weapons, while in the case file that was formed, one more person is included for complicity in fraud.
In particular, according to a complaint, a woman addressed her case to the police officer, following the prompting of her accomplice. The police officer, under the guise of mediation to avoid legal consequences in the said case, convinced the victim to pay sums of money, first in person to his accomplice and then to bank accounts.
In a physical search, as well as in a house search, 3 hunting rifles, a revolver, a pistol, 251 cartridges, 500 euros, a watch and a mobile phone were found and confiscated.
The arrested person was taken to the competent prosecuting authority.
