Early on Saturday morning, the Maintal fire brigade had to respond to a fire in a terraced house on the Rendeler Pfand in Schöneck. When they arrived, the entire ground floor was already in flames and burned out. The 60-year-old homeowner and a 48-year-old resident were injured in the fire, inhaled smoke and required hospital treatment. After extinguishing the fire, the fire brigade estimated the damage at around 150,000 euros. The police have started investigating the cause of the fire.
