The intervention in the state of Massachusetts began in the morning at two o’clock local time (8:00 CEST), when a police officer stopped at two cars parked on the side of the road. He thought they were refueling, but then he noticed a total of eight to ten people in military clothes.

Some had long rifles, others pistols, and some both. The policeman asked them for driver’s licenses and weapons licenses, but they did not present them.

Then they fled to the forest. Police called in reinforcements, labeled the men dangerous, closed part of the highway and asked people not to leave the house. Police arrested two men first and seven more after four hours.

According to CBS Boston, the intervention is over. There was no violence, no shooting and no one was injured. According to currently known information, it seems that the aim of the whole event was to provoke a police intervention, which will reach the media, thus alerting the hitherto unknown organization to the general public that it exists.

This is evidenced by the fact that the group filmed the whole incident on YouTube and praised itself for drawing attention to itself. The road closure has caused traffic jams as many Americans are on their way ahead of the upcoming Independence Day holiday.
