Headquarters Police issued Regulation of the Indonesian National Police (Perpol) Number 15 of 2021 to appoint former employees of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).NCP) as ASN in Bhayangkara Corps.
“That’s right, the Perpol has been issued,” said Head of the Public Relations Division of the Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo when confirmed, Friday (12/3).
The Perpol contains the appointment of 57 former KPK employees to become employees of the State Civil Apparatus within the Indonesian National Police.
Dedi said that the special regulation for the appointment of Novel Baswedan et al had been officially recorded at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.
According to Dedi, his party is currently waiting for the State Personnel Agency (BKN) to issue a Civil Servant Identity Number (NIP).
“The next process will carry out socialization and together with BKN for the staffing process,” he said.
For information, 57 KPK employees were fired on 30 September. They are considered ineligible as ASN because they failed to pass the National Insight Test (TWK) and could no longer join the anti-corruption agency.
The National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, then plans to recruit dozens of employees who were fired by the chairman of the KPK, Firli Bahuri. Listyo also asked for the blessing of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to withdraw Novel Baswedan and his friends.
