Manchester City star Erling Haaland is under police investigation.
The Norwegian can, in a video that The Sun took part, is seen checking his mobile phone while driving.
If convicted, Haaland may be required to pay a fine.
On March 14, Erling Haaland scored five goals for his Manchester City, in the Champions League round of 16 against Leipzig.
The following day, he was caught driving his Rolls Royce, worth SEK 3.8 million, with his mobile phone in his hand.
It was all caught on film, which The Sun has obtained.
The video has reached the police
The video has now reached Greater Manchester Police (GMP) who confirm they have launched an investigation.
– I can confirm that we are aware of the case and are investigating. We will not be able to comment further as an investigation is underway, writes Emma Nockton at GMP in one email to Dagbladet.
In England it is illegal to use a mobile phone while driving.
If you are guilty of the crime, you are punished with a fine of 200 pounds, 2,500 kroner. If you have had your driving license for less than two years, your driving license can be revoked.
Haaland earns roughly 4.7 million kroner a week.
