▲Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency Photo: Yonhap News The police investigating whether Cheon Gong, a fortune teller, was involved in the selection process for the presidential residence confirmed that another feng shui expert, other than Cheon Gong, had visited the Army Chief of Staff’s residence.
The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency’s Cybercrime Investigation Unit has concluded that it is not true about former Ministry of National Defense spokesman Bu Seung-chan’s allegation that the occult was involved in the process of selecting the presidential residence, and decided to announce the results of the investigation soon.
The police believe that Baek Jae-kwon, an adjunct professor at Cyber Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, visited the mission, not Cheon-gong.
The police found that Professor Baek’s visit to the mission was accompanied by People’s Power Rep. Yoon Han-hong, who was the team leader before the Blue House at the time, and Kim Yong-hyun, the deputy team leader.
Professor Baek is a person who argued in a column before the presidential election last year that candidate Seok-Yeol Yoon’s Seon-Young is a good place and that “a person with great power will come out.”
In an interview, Yongsan-gu was chosen as the best place in Seoul.
He also revealed through social media that he was invited to the inauguration ceremony of President Yoon Seok-yeol.
Previously, former spokesman Boo claimed to have heard from former President Nam Young-shin on April 1 of last year, through media interviews and books, that “Cheong-gong visited the Army Chief’s official residence in Hannam-dong and the Seoul Office of the Army in the Ministry of National Defense along with a high-ranking official of the Presidential Transition Committee.”
In response, in February, the presidential office accused former spokesman Bu and reporters from two media outlets who reported on his claims for defamation.
The police secured and analyzed the CCTV footage of the Army General’s official residence, but on April 10, they revealed the interim investigation result that they could not find any traces of entry and exit.
This is because a person who did not belong to the pre-Blue House TF was recorded on CCTV, but it was not perforated.
Instead, it is known that a statement that the person in question was Professor Baek was obtained during a reference investigation at the diplomatic mission at the time.
The police confirmed that Professor Baek was wearing a mask when visiting the mission, and is investigating whether any military officials mistakenly reported the beard that fell under the mask for perforation, and whether former spokesman Boo actually intended to slander.
