Teguh said, from CCTV monitoring, truck against direction from Km 12. Traffic at the location when the truck’s reckless action was carried out was observed to be quiet.

“(Against the direction of the distance) about 2 kilometers, yes, from Km 14. We checked the CCTV, there was no collision, damage to the shoulder of the road or anything else. Purely a traffic violation,” explained Teguh.

The truck driver’s reckless action against the direction now has a long tail. The police are currently combing CCTV footage along the Serpong-Balaraja toll road to find out the identity of the driver.

The police also asked the role of the community to send information if they saw the action of the truck going in the opposite direction. Teguh ensured that there would be sanctions given to truck drivers.

“Because it is dangerous, we are still looking for the plate and handling it according to the applicable SOP procedures,” said Teguh.

Video Recorder Testimony

The moment the truck goes against the road Serpong-Balaraja Toll Road recorded by residents and the video went viral on social media (social media). The video recorder, Wahyu Pratikta, said the incident occurred this morning.

“The story goes that when I entered the Serpong-Balaraja Toll Road Section 1a from Pagedangan to Jakarta, if I’m not mistaken at Km 14 in the opposite direction I saw a truck in an unfortunate position,” Wahyu said when contacted separately.

Wahyu thought there was an accident there. However, it turned out that a truck that was maneuvering made a U-turn.

“I’m still going fast while looking at the mirrors, still positive thinking who knows there is something urgent,” he said.

The truck, continued Wahyu, was seen still going against the flow until it was approaching the Rawabuuntu Toll Exit. Wahyu thought that maybe the truck had missed the toll gate.

“But don’t make a U-turn in the middle of the toll road and go against the flow too. If for example someone is shocked and on the toll road, the high speed is definitely very dangerous, moreover there are also turns, prone, invisible,” he added.
