JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Attorney General Sanitiar Burhanuddin said he would investigate issues related to the cleaning officer witness or cleaning service who were considered suspicious in the incident Fire Main Building attorney General’s Office on Saturday, August 22, 2020.

Burhanuddin also said that the police will investigate cleaning officers who reportedly have hundreds of millions of account balances.

Meanwhile, Deputy Attorney General for General Crimes (Jampidum), Fadli Zumhana, explained that the cleaning officer was named Joko and had been examined by investigators using a lie detector (lie detector).

Apart from the suspected cleaners, his party will not cover up if there are other actors in the building fire.
“Regarding other roles, if there are any later, we will not cover up. We will dismantle whoever the perpetrators, both internally and contractors, are involved here,” he said.
Furthermore, regarding the issue of cleaning officers who have account balances of hundreds of millions, Fadli said, this is still in the process of being investigated.
“This is in the process of investigating what money we are looking at and where it will come from later, because yesterday the investigation process was not yet pro justitia. When this investigation we asked the investigators to reveal where the money came from,” he concluded.
