Police investigate assault of photographer at Ajax | championship party Inland

The photographer went to the stadium on behalf of the international news agency Associated Press to take pictures of the championship party there. Initially he recorded the cheer there. Before he could get out, he was kicked in the back and injured his left ear from the can of beer hitting his head.

“We are going to investigate the incident, because it is a serious matter if the press cannot report freely. So we will certainly tackle this, ”said a police spokesperson. The police also call on witnesses to report. “If anyone knows who was responsible for this, we would like to hear about it.”

According to Het Parool, the photographer will report the abuse on Tuesday. The police makes no further statements about this.
