London –
Police in English caused an uproar by a report of mass murder submitted by one of the residents. It turns out that what was reported as a mass murder was just people taking a yoga class.
Reported AFPFriday (8/9/2023), Police personnel English rushed to a yoga class location in the central region of the country after a resident reported a mass killing. Apparently, the reporter mistakenly thought the people lying on the floor in the yoga class were victims of a massacre.
Police were quickly deployed to the location of the yoga class, complete with police car sirens blaring, on Wednesday (6/9) evening local time. When they arrived, the report of the mass murder turned out to be just members of a yoga class meditating quietly.
The yoga class that sparked concern was held at the North Sea Observatory, precisely in the Chapel St Leonards area, Lincolnshire. The manager of the building where the yoga class was held provided an explanation to the public via a Facebook post.
He suspected that the reporter was worried because he saw many people on the floor. He said the yoga class participants did not move during the meditation.
“If anyone heard police sirens at Chapel St Leonard at 9.30pm last night, please remain calm,” read a Facebook post by the building manager.
“They were on their way to the Observatory after someone reported a mass murder in our building, after seeing several people lying on the floor, who turned out to be a yoga class meditating,” explained the building manager.
The building, which is equipped with a seaside cafe, is known to regularly hold yoga classes in the evening. The building manager emphasized that the yoga class participants were not a cult.
“We are not part of any cult or crazy club,” stressed the building management.
Lincolnshire Police confirmed in a statement that the complaint to the police was made in ‘good faith’.
