“Police Identify Suspect in Freiburg Knife Attack”

Freiburg (dpa / lsw) – After a knife attack in Freiburg, the police identified a 59-year-old suspect. He is said to have injured two men with a knife a week earlier, police said on Wednesday. The alleged perpetrator is said to have crossed a street despite the red pedestrian traffic light and hit the two men’s car. The driver turned his car around and got out to confront the man. Then there was a physical altercation. According to the information, the 34 and 36-year-old victims had to be treated in the hospital. Police say the investigation into the crime is still ongoing.
