Police are on the trail of a man who their sources say stabbed two people in separate incidents yesterday afternoon in Boerum Hill.
Police have released a photograph of the suspect they are looking for in connection with the first incident. This is Joevani Valle, 26 years old.
The assault occurred around 1:30 p.m. on Nevins Street where a 31-year-old woman was stabbed in the right thigh.
She was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive.
Less than an hour later, just a few blocks away, an 83-year-old man was found stabbed in the neck and arm inside the Wyckoff Gardens NYCHA complex.

Both cases are under investigation.
