Things went awry for a homeowner when a plow truck tried to do its work on Konnerud in Drammen on Friday, police say. The result was a broken journey.
Police had to go to a residential area of Konnerud in Drammen at around 11pm after a resident was so dissatisfied with the plowing on site that he broke the window of the plowing truck.
It all ended with a call from the police who had to sort things out.
– He was very angry, among other things, because the plow tractor had sprayed snow on his property, operations manager Tommy Eriksen tells the police DRM24.
According to the police, the owner of the house had “broken down the tractor door and melted it into the side, blowing out the window”.
– This probably went a little further. We filed a case on the relationship and got both sides to agree to mediation in the conflict council, says Eriksen.
The operations manager encourages people to be generous and patient when situations related to chaos arise.
– It’s not the first time we’ve heard of episodes, often snow-related, where many people want to go up and shoot. It’s good to remember that the plow crews are doing what they can, Eriksen says.
