Police helicopter lost contact at Bangka Belitung carries 4 crews

Karo Penmas Polri HQ Brigadier General Ahmad Ramdhan said there were four crews at helicopter who has lost contact in East Belitung, Bangka Belitung Islands. She did not confirm whether the plane crashed or there were other causes.

“So the data for the aircraft is NB0105/P1103. The aircraft is in airworthy condition and with a crew of four,” Ahmad said when contacted on Sunday (27/11/2022).

He asked the audience not to conclude that the plane crashed or anything else. Up to now, the police are still investigating the case.

“So don’t talk about the loss of the helicopter or its crash. It’s too early to conclude, and no one has said yet,” he said.

“So I’m only referring to Poludara’s report,” he said.

A helicopter owned by the National Police is known to have lost contact in East Belitung. Korpolairud Baharkam Polri’s team will be sent to conduct a search.

According to Ramadhan, the Korpolairud Baharkam from police to Babel regional police went to search.

“A research effort will be carried out by Korpolairud Baharkam Polri, Polda Babel and related agencies,” he said.
