TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTA – Here are the latest developments in the shooting case that occurred at home Head of the National Police Propam Division Inspector General Ferdy Sambo which turned out to have started with the pointing of a gun at the general’s wife.
It is said that the Head of the National Police’s Propam Division, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, was not at his residence at the time of the shooting incident of Brigadier General Nopryansah Yosua Hutabarat alias Brigadier J to Bharada E on Friday (8/7/2022).
“So, at the time of the shooting, Mr. Sambo, Mr. Kadiv, were not in the house,” said Karo Penmas of the Public Relations Division of the Police Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan when confirmed, Monday (11/7/2022).
He said that Inspector General Ferdy Sambo was out of the house to perform a PCR test for Covid-19 when the shooting incident occurred.
“At the time of the incident, the Head of the Propam Division was not at home because the PCR test was being carried out,” he said.
Furthermore, Ramadhan said that Inspector General Ferdy Sambo only found out about the incident after being called by his wife.
After that, he immediately saw Brigadier J who was already dead.
“After the incident, Mrs. (Wife) Sambo called the Head of the Propam Division. Then came, after arriving at the house of the Head of the Propam Division, received a call from the mother. The Head of the Propam Division immediately called the South Jakarta Police and the South Jakarta Police carried out a crime scene at his house,” he concluded.
As previously reported, the Indonesian Police revealed the reason for Brigadier Nopryansah Yosua Hutabarat alias Brigadier J shot dead by Bharada E at the residence of the Head of Propam Polri Inspector General Ferdy Sambo in Duren Tiga, South Jakarta on Friday (8/7/2022).
