Police have found a missing woman in Ķekava; child – dead

The Riga Pigeon Station of the State Police on Thursday evening spread information that it was looking for a missing woman born in 1987 and her one-year-old daughter. The woman and her child had left their place of residence in Ķekava, Rāmavas Street in a dark blue car on the morning of October 15 at about 10 am, and the location of the persons was unknown.

Police said shortly before midnight on Thursday that both people had been found, but the child was unfortunately showing no signs of life.

According to the information available to the police, the child is drowned. The police are currently explaining the circumstances of the incident, criminal proceedings have been initiated.
