The police said they had asked for information from a woman with the initials NH, wife of HR (50), who was found rotting with her biological child, AQ (2), in a house in the area Which, North Jakarta (Jakut). NH was in the house when NR and AQ were found dead and rotting.

From NH’s statement, it was confirmed that HR died on Friday (20/10). This statement was also supported by statements from a number of neighbors who said that HR did not perform Friday prayers.
The reason NH did not try to seek help outside the house for days, according to his statement, was that his psychological condition was under stress and his body was in pain so he could not do anything more.
“She had tried to help her husband but couldn’t do anything more because he was already sick so he could only lock himself up at home,” said Gidion.
Investigators are still digging up NH’s information regarding the whereabouts of her two children, who at the time of the incident were alone in the room and locked from the inside.
NH admitted that he did not open the bedroom door because he could not open it considering his weak body condition.
This information has also been compared with the statements of a number of neighbors that NH was found in a weak body condition, such as not eating. Gidion ensured that NH provided information freely, independently and without pressure and without pressure from any party. So the information given to the police came purely from his testimony.
