The police fired warning shots in Groningen on Sunday evening. Just before eight o’clock, officers arrived at a report of an ‘imminent situation’ at De Driemaster in De Fok.

A person threateningly approached the officers, who felt compelled to fire the shots. No one was injured in this. The suspect has been arrested.

De Driemaster in the Lewenborg district is a so-called guest house for young people with intellectual disabilities of care organization De Zijlen.
