Lampung Police explained the reasons for having visited the residence of the parents of the TikTok account owner Awbimax Reborn, Bima Yudho Saputro. This happened after Bima criticized the local government.

Head of Police Public Relations Lampung Pol Kombes Zahwani Pandra Arsyad said the arrival of bhabinkamtibmas to Bima’s parents’ house was only a task for sambang (ronda).

According to him, the police only wanted to confirm the condition of Bima’s parents after the criticism made by his son was circulating on social media.

“In order to ensure his condition after the news on the viral social media Tiktokers Bima, which of course is to anticipate efforts to intimidate people who are not happy,” said Pandra, Friday (14/4).

The arrival of the bhabinkamtibmas also coincided with Friday vent as a Lampung Police program to accommodate the aspirations of local residents.

According to Pandra, his party instead appealed to Bima and his family to report immediately if they received intimidation from parties who were not happy with their criticism of the Lampung Regional Government.

“As the duty of the Police is to provide protection, shelter and service, he concluded,” he said.

Previously, Bima said that his family had received threats and intimidation after a video of his criticism of the Lampung government went viral on social media.

By uploading to his personal Instagram account @awbimax, Bima said that his mother had been visited by the police at her place of work. He also said that the apparatus also requested some of his personal data.

Bima revealed that his father, who is a Civil Servant (PNS), was also summoned by the Regent of East Lampung. He said the officers who came to his house also asked for the bank account used in Australia.

“The police came to my house, asked for my certificate, who reported who, who bothered them,” said Bima.
